  We as young people who were born in Vietnam and have had the opportunity to study in a country with the high educational quality like Finland, we understand that education is basic human right and is a significant factor in the development of children, communities, and countries.

 

  Opening classroom doors to all children especially the poor ethnic communities is a very meaningful way of giving the young generations the skills that they need to achieve a better future.

 

  Pu Pien School, belongs to Nam Muc Primary Center School, located in Pu Pien Village, Muong Mun Commune, Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien province. This place is about 425km away from the capital city - Ha Noi.

 

  Muong Mun has 18 villages with 1,050 different ethnic groups’ households, of which 46,9% is poor & 20,4% is near-poor family. The locals there have low literacy level and earn their living mainly by agriculture. The traffic system in Muong Mun is at poor condition with all soil roads. There is no electricity and clean water source in many areas.

 

   Pu Pien village is located 47km from Tuan Giao district center and has mainly mountainous land. There are 37 households in Pu Pien & the poverty rate is 89.2%.

 

  Pu Pien School is 12km away from Center school point in Muong Mun. Currently, the school has only 1 temporary classroom which is meagerly built from simple wood pieces for both 1st and 2nd grade. It has 16 students and all of them are from poor families. The locals here have difficulty in finance to mobilize the construction and repair of facilities.

 

 

   This campaign aims to raise 8000€ in order to build: 

- A 40m2 classroom

- A 15m2 canteen room

- A 6m2 restroom

- A 84m2 playing ground
